Styling the Brookes Collective Military Blouse

The Military Blouse is a shirt that is getting a lot of buzz and it is well deserved! The top is flowy and flattering with capped sleeves, a higher neck, button embellishments on the front and an adorable key hole back. We are smitten with this top and its versatility and we know you will be too! And maybe when you wear yours you will have as much fun as Jasmine is having here! ;)

We are starting out styling the military blouse in a casual chic outfit. Imagine the top partially tucked in to your denim shorts and the belt showing out just a little. Your tennis shoes will give this look to a laid back feel. No necklace necessary because of the high neckline so choose a bracelet or earrings to stand out as your accessory. I chose a chunky bracelet in a coordinating color to be the featured accessory and paired it with simple earrings. Add your sunnies and you are set for a summer day date!

Is that the Canadian Tuxedo you ask? Why yes it is!!! I'm not always a fan of the denim on denim, but I love the idea of the monotony of the same material being broken up by a shirt with a lot of interest. The length of the Military Blouse is longer than the jacket and would flare out the bottom adding dimension and the neckline and buttons would draw the attention to the shirt. Add a fun pair of shoes and funky earrings to complete this look.

You know we like to get a little fancy every once in a while and I love how all of our tops are versatile enough to do so! Black leggings or dark denim would work well for this outfit and pair them with some heels. I love a good pair of black heels, they are definitely worth investing in! Add a cuff, some fancy earrings and clutch and you are ready to hit the town! It's so easy to dress this top up, it will do all the work for you!
